NovVista is committed to honest, transparent, and high-quality technology journalism. This page outlines the editorial principles that guide everything we publish.
Editorial Independence
NovVista is independently operated. Our editorial decisions are not influenced by advertisers, sponsors, or affiliates. When we review a product or recommend a tool, it reflects our genuine assessment based on hands-on experience.
Content Categories
We publish three types of content, each clearly distinguished:
- Original Analysis — Articles written by our editorial team based on first-hand experience, research, and independent judgment. These represent our strongest editorial voice.
- Curated Coverage — Articles based on external sources (news reports, social media threads, official announcements) where we add editorial context, key takeaways, background analysis, and our assessment of significance.
- Translated & Bilingual Content — Select articles published in both English and Chinese. Translations are reviewed for accuracy and localized where appropriate, not mechanically mirrored.
Source Attribution
When our content references or builds upon external sources, we:
- Link to original sources wherever possible.
- Clearly identify the original author or publication.
- Distinguish between direct quotation, paraphrase, and editorial commentary.
- Label curated and reposted content to differentiate it from original analysis.
AI Assistance Disclosure
NovVista uses AI tools (including large language models) in our editorial workflow. Specifically:
- AI may assist with research, initial drafting, translation, and structural suggestions.
- All AI-assisted content is reviewed, edited, and approved by a human editor before publication.
- AI is never the sole author of published content. Human editorial judgment governs all final decisions on accuracy, tone, and framing.
- We do not use AI to fabricate quotes, sources, or data.
We believe in using AI as a tool to enhance editorial quality, not as a shortcut to replace human judgment.
Corrections Policy
We take accuracy seriously. If a factual error is identified in any published article:
- We will correct the error as promptly as possible.
- Significant corrections will be noted at the end of the article with a timestamp.
- We will not silently alter published content to change its meaning.
To report an error, please contact us.
Quality Standards
Every article published on NovVista is evaluated against five criteria:
- Originality — Does it offer a perspective or analysis not readily available elsewhere?
- Reader Value — Will a reader learn something useful or gain a better understanding?
- Clarity — Is the writing clear, well-structured, and free of unnecessary jargon?
- Credibility — Are sources cited, claims supported, and context provided?
- Editorial Voice — Does it reflect genuine editorial judgment rather than template-generated content?
